GCS IS COMMITTED TO REACHING THREE MILESTONES IN THE NEAR FUTURE:

 

1. EXPANDING OUR CURRENT BOARD TO INCLUDE:

• Community and business leaders

• Key figures from other organizations who serve populations similar to those served 
  by GCS in Jersey City

 

2. BROADENED FINANCIAL SUPPORT:

• Expand and diversify GCS’ grant portfolio so our programs do not primarily rely on one funding source that may or may not be available in years to come

• Identify community and business leaders in Jersey city who are willing to invest in GCS’ future by making individual donations of $500 - $5,000

 

3. INCREASED PROGRAMMING

• To include a food pantry, case management, and a weekday feeding program

• Hire a part time GCS Director

• Enhance Volunteer/Donor communications, cultivation, appreciation and recruitment

• Market GCS as a vital organization in Jersey City
